They are not airing round 1 and 2 of the open where I am. But I wonder why Andy Roddick retired against Fernando Verdasco in the second set?

Carlos Moya barely made it through to the 3rd round. James Blake took him to two tie breaks in the second. I would've liked to have seen that match.

I'm looking forward to seeing Gael Monfils play. I've heard alot about him and he upset Nikolay Davydenko (#14 seed) today. Congrats to him. :)

What a day

Henin won quite easily her opening match

Roddick got injured when he slammed his raquet

And Malisse was 6-3 5-5 up against Ferrer and got defaulted

Roddick retired with a wrist injury apparently...and I'm not surprised considering the power in his serve!

Malisse was booted out for a 'serious' verbal assault. If I'm not wrong he's had similar outbursts in the past. I'm sure Melissa can confirm or deny that. It rings a bell.

Agree with cruisecontrol2005, Gael Monfils is gonna be a major talent I think. he seems to be tipped for the top anyways and has certainly beaten top players.

Mmmm, yes.. But this time I believe him, that's why freaked out when he was defaulted I guess. Anyway, he should have kept calm..

If you want to see the video, read the articles, insult him in my guestbook, write "I hate Xavier" mails to me.. http://users.skynet.be/xaviermalisse

Oh yes, having a Xavier site is fun these days

Wow just watched the video, he did get rather upset! There is no excuse for that kind of behaviour, I would slap a fine on him and give him a match ban (sorry mel!) Good to hear the Americans in the crowd giving him some grief haha.

Henman meets Federer in the Quarters tomorrow... Go Henman!!!

Thanks Melissa and NineEighteen for the info on what happened to Roddick.

I am looking forward to Dent vs. Agassi. That promises to be a very interesting match. I hope Taylor doesn't retire in this one though. I really think he can beat Agassi when he is at his best. We'll see.

Also looking forward to Clijsters and Venus playing in their respective matches.

Federer just doesn't excite me anymore. I mean, he's a brilliant player.. but I feel like he may not win this tournament. I wouldn't bet money on it though. But I do feel like Nadal will win this if he makes it to the Finals.

Well I'm hoping Henman beats Federer today...he still has a 6-3 win/loss record against the Swiss and seems quite confident...he hopes to dominate the net and make sure Federer won't relax into a groundstroke exchange (which he'd most likely win).

Apart from the fact I am British, I want Henman to win because I love to see serve and volley tennis and it seems to be a dying art

I think tennis needs more people rushing the net...who is left? Henman, Rusedski...Scud?

The match is due to start at 2100BST...COME ON HENNERS!!!

Federer def. Henman 6-4 6-2. It's a shame for us British fans but the better man won so I shouldn't complain.

Sharapova is in the finals of the womans draw. She meets either Clijsters of Mauresmo in the final.

Clijsters beat Mauresmo 6-1 6-0
Our Kimmie is really back. I wonder what she can against Sharapova, the Russian played really well against Henin earlier this week.

The ladies final was won by Kim Clijsters over Maria Sharapova. She won 6-3 7-5!

Mens final will take place later today "Rafael Nadal vs Roger Federer". I would not bet against Federer but Nadal seems very confident (then again so was Henman minutes before be got beaten in straights the other day!

Well Federer won the match, but only just. He was amazingly 2 sets to love down and 4-1 down in the third before he fought back to take the match in 5!

Looks like an amazing match.

Woohoo, our Kimmie won again

Now she takes 3 weeks rest and comes back to Europe in order to prepare for the clay court season.

Too bad I missed the Federer match but it was nowhere on tv

We get practically no tennis on terrestrial TV here in the UK. Only the UK grasscourt season and the occasional Davis Cup match (if the UK is involved). It would be nice to get some more.

Where can I watch the Final?
