No Belgian girls at the Aussie Open

I think Federer and Myskina (or Sharapova) will win

Yep, you'd have to be bonkers to bet against Federer for the men's title! I saw an article in the London Metro newspaper this morning where he's threatening to take his game to a new level if he starts getting beaten by the top players directly under him in the rankings!

If he does take it to a new level, I reckon we may actually see some 'perfect' tennis. Hopefully Hewitt or Roddick can give him a push in that direction this year.

As for the ladies, maybe Davenport is an outside bet.

I would love to see Davenport win, that would be sweet!  She could pull a Sampras and retire winning a slam, but she would also be #1 in the world!

Yep, it would certainly be a fairytail ending! We will know the answer in 2 weeks

From a British point of view it was nice to see Rusedski come from a set down to beat Bjorkman in fine style...and after a small 'Henman wobble', both British men are thru' to round 2!

Not forgetting Elena Baltacha going through to the third round! Shes the first British woman to reach the 3rd round in 14 years! She plays Silvia Farnina next.

Yes, she beat our Els Callens in the first round of the quallies.. it's her fault that we don't have a Belgian women in the draw since I don't know how much years Since then we are watching Elena, to see how for she would get

Bad luck indeed to lose to a British female player! Not many people get to admit to that!

She's always been 'one to watch'. Let's hope she can beat Farina and then go on to possibly meet Wimbledon Champion Sharapova!

Baltacha only won one game against Farina Elia

But our Olivier Rochus meets Marat Safin in the 4th round I still remember Wimbledon 2002

Agassi vs. Federer looks like a juicy match! Federer is obviously the best player in the world right now and Agassi saw off Joachim Johansson despite his opponent hitting a world record 51 aces in the match!

Looking forward to that one, unfortunately I'll have to follow it on the live scoreboard. Kuznetsova-Sharapova & Mauresmo-Serena will also be thrillers tomorrow

Myskina, Dementieva & Venus Williams are out today!

I'm still sad, Rochus won the first set, but lost 3 tiebreaks against Safin
